This site supports the gaming desires and aspirations of fans of “Bitter Woods”, a wargame that simulates the surprise German assault in the Ardennes during World War 2.  Launched on December 16th, 1944, this attack was intended to split the Western Allies, Great Britain and the United States by capturing or cutting off Antwerp.

Players of this game have to make the operational decisions that will lead their side to victory; paying attention to terrain, weather, and the capabilities of their armies is critical.  This site provides information about the game, the associated strategy and tactics, and provides references to the various organized events in which this game is played.
